Indian artist to perform at Phoenix

First Entertainment Co Ltd, a subsidy of Landmark Management will be launched on Tuesday. Celva Runghen, director of First Entertainment Co Ltd stated that the aim is to give the people of Mauritius more choice in terms of entertainment.

He added that they believe in quality entertainment at affordable prices.

First Entertainment Co Ltd will organise its first show on November 12 at the J&J auditorium in Phoenix. Ranjit Rajwara, who has won more than 50 prizes and recognitions at state, national and international level, will perform. He will be accompanied by musicians Farid Ahmed, Jahir Hussein and Randhir Kumar.

Ranjit Rajwara, 19, is the youngest recipient of the President of India Award conferred upon him by former President of India Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. He was also the winner of the All India Singing Competition in 2005. He has also declared All India Best Young Singer by Doordarshan.
