MASA: Rs 10 Million Royalties Will be Distributed Among 800 Local and International Artists

The authors, composers, arrangers and publishers registered with the MASA will share the sum of Rs 10 million on the rights of their works. They are a total of about 800 local and international artists who will benefit from the royalties. This was the subject on Tuesday 20 December, a press conference at the Hotel St. George, Port-Louis. 

The acting president of MASA, Bhugun Islam, wanted to respond to those who said that " MASA was in the red.
