This division, headed by Didier Robert, president of the Regional Council also aims to bring together stakeholders in research, training, and innovation in tourism to make the meeting an attractive in this area. Ultimately, it will shine on the Indian Ocean with key tourism partners in the IRT.
The first action of the pole was in the form of a contest: "Dare to tourism: the first trophy for innovation in tourism", in partnership with the University of La Réunion. Reunion for young students, this competition aims to raise the regional actors to future tourism issues for the economic future of the island, offering them to invest in a prospective land.
Remember, the goal in 2015 for the Region meeting is to reach 600,000 tourists in the island, 250 million in additional revenue estimate, and the creation of 2,000 new jobs.
