Honeymoon: Mauritius Best World Destination "Dertour"

Member of the group "REWE" Dertour is a specialist on German travel far. "REWE", we should note, is the second largest travel specialist in Germany. At the ITB Berlin, Wednesday, March 7, the Minister of Tourism and Recreation, Michael Sik Yuen and the Director of the MTPA Dr. Karl Mootoosamy who have had the honor to receive this award by the Vice Chairman of REWE Group, Kevin Keogh and the Director of MTPA-Germany, Mons. Jorn Krausser. Michael Sik Yuen has not scored to speak at the ceremony: "This is an extremely positive sign in a market that remains a priority in tourism policy on Europe."

For the tour operator Dertour, Mauritius is the most popular destination in that it comes to honeymoon for the German market. Following a campaign in Germany, an increase of couples choosing Germans Mauritius has been noted. 

Mauritius participates, from today, at ITB Berlin the tourism trade show the largest in Europe. Minister of Tourism and Recreation, Michael Sik Yuen is leading a major Mauritian delegation to Berlin, with 120 participants from 38 local organizations (hotel groups, tour operators and DMC's among others). A clear work schedule was established for the first three days, from 7 to 9 March.
