Roche-Bois: Eight Arrests Last Night

CID Port Louis North has made eight arrests, including a child, following incidents that disrupted Roche-Bois, Sunday, Sept. 16.
Police hath not expected. Late at night and early this Monday, September 17, she performed the `arrest of eight suspects believed to be linked in one way or another` s the unrest that rocked Roche-Bois Saturday and Sunday.
Most of the suspects are young. Among them, a minor 16 years. They are suspected of theft, assault or throw projectiles. The eight suspects all live in the area of ??Roche-Bois. They were interviewed this morning at the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) Abercrombie.
A fight between Bangladeshi workers and inhabitants of Roche-Bois on Saturday night escalated Sunday. Firefighters and riot police had to intervene. Tear gas was used by police to disperse the crowd.
