The 10th International Days Of Sports Medicine At Shandrani Resort & Spa

The 10th International Days of Sports Medicine, organized every two years by Professors Yves Catonné and Gérard Saillant, will be held again this year in Mauritius.
Hundreds of experts - physicians, surgeons, nutritionists - as well as athletes will gather at Shandrani Resort & Spa for global reflection on "Medicine and Sport", and not just in sports medicine.
These meetings in Mauritius are in effect and at the same time:
- A unique way for experts to share their experiences and open new avenues of collaboration;
- An opportunity to combine vocational training and sports;
- The opportunity to foster an open dialogue between athletes at the highest level and health professionals in all disciplines who have to deal with the sport.
The technique will of course sports center stage. But monitoring of the athlete, the selection of practitioners, the performance criteria for sports and disciplines which are devices - including nutrition and préventique-will also be considered.
Under the patronage of the Minister of Health of Mauritius, this event again this year should gather hundreds of participants from different European countries - including France and Belgium - and Tunisia and the Indian Ocean.
