Lormus Bundhoo Promises Ipad To All Doctors In 2013

All doctors in the public sector will be provided an iPad in 2013. This is one of the suggestions of Minister of Health and Quality of Life, Lormus Bundhoo to further modernise healthcare in Mauritius.

He was speaking at the inauguration of an Accident and Emergency Department of the Sir Sewoosagar Ramgoolam National Hospital.

“The process for the continued development of the Mauritian health sector will be reviewed. A continuous development programme for doctors will be set up to keep them up to date. All doctors will be provided an iPad so that they can browse the latest medical publications and access more medical resources,” the Minister said.

The eligibility criteria for aspiring medicine students will also be reviewed.
