ICTA Hosts 10th Annual Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation (CTO) Forum

The tenth annual forum of the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation (CTO) hosted by the Information and Communication Authority (ICTA) will take place from October 22 to 24 at InterContinental Resort in Balaclava.

The theme for this year will be ‘Mobile Broadband for Development’.

During a press conference held on Friday, ICT Minister, Tasarajen Pillay Chedumbrum said: “The CTO has chosen this theme because of the strong impact of broadband on the socio-economic development and the progress made by the Commonwealth countries like Mauritius in the mobile broadband networks to serve its citizens. “Mauritius will provide the stage for around 120 delegates consisting of experts and industry leaders to debate on the promise of Mobile Broadband for Development,” the ICT minister added.
