School Certificate Results: Success rate is Slightly Lower at 76%

The success rate for School Certificate in 2012 is 75.74%, or one point lower than in 2011. Once again, these are the girls that have the best performance with 81% success rate whereas boys are stagnating at 69.64%.

The results of the School Certificate (SC) were released shortly before 1:00 p.m. on Monday 28 January. Little disappointed in that it is the overall success rate is slightly lower this year. Indeed, with 75.74% for the 2012 vintage, it is a point lower than in 2011 (76.74%).

In Rodrigues, the success rate is 73.3% while last year 78.7% of students had earned their SC. The difference in performance between girls (73.68%) and male (72.87%) is almost insignificant in Rodrigues.
