BAI Buys Part of Phoenix Les Halles
The British American Investment (BAI) group has just acquired part of the Phoenix Les Halles commercial centre in a deal amounting to over Rs 225 million.

The deal was concluded between Seaton Investment, the group’s holding company and the owners of two areas on the ground floor, covering a total area of 5,400 square metres.

Chairman of Bramcom Holding, the commercial arm of BAI, Claudio Feistritzer, stated this acquisition is part of the group’s long term strategy aimed at consolidating its commercial activities and beefing up its offering to Mauritians.

“Our philosophy is to be close to our clients and offer diverse, high quality products in a friendly atmosphere. The centre will undergo a facelift,” he explained. Major works will soon begin to renovate the complex. Once the works are completed, the building will house the group’s subsidiaries and an Iframac showroom displaying more than 10 car brands and motorcycles.
