Conflict of Interest: Two Employees of AML Fired
Direction of Airports of Mauritius Ltd (AML) has fired two employees for conflict of interest. AML has discovered that they are shareholders of a company that was maintenance work at the airport.

Among the four suspended employees in March, two were returned this Wednesday, May 8. Vishwa Danand, Seegobin Ramjus, supervisor and Anandsing Lollbeeharry, technician, are shareholders of the company Clean Sky that was doing maintenance for AML account work. The contract of the company was revoked in March.

AML were simultaneously suspended five employees of which has subsequently been exonerated. Two other employees must be brought before a disciplinary committee in the context of this investigation. After an internal investigation, AML had appealed to the accounting firm BDO-De Chazal du Mée for further investigation.
