New Identity Card Delivered in October
At a cost of Rs 1.1 billion, the realization of the proposed new identity card making great strides. This new 'ID Card' will not only make life easier for citizens, but also increase the efficiency of the government bureaucracy.

The new card, polycarbonate plastic, also the picture of the regulator, contain certain information included in the laser such as the name of the latter, its identification number, sex, date of birth, date of issue of the card, photograph, signature and a barcode.

In addition, the new card has a microchip that stores data related to marital status, address and digital footprint as well as encrypted data on the holder. This feature is necessary to prevent fraud.

The first impression of the card is scheduled for October and will end in December 2014. To enable better management of the implementation of the new card, issuers will be decentralized offices around the country. To recap, the first impression will be free, but if the holder loses his card, he will then have to pay a sum of money to get another.
