Under the spotlight: Pallavi Gungaram 19 years. She is the new Miss Mauritius 2013. The ceremony was held Saturday evening, June 29, at J & J auditorium.

The successor to Diya Beeltah is named Pallavi Gungaram. Aged 19, the young woman, a resident of Phoenix and secretary by profession, is the new Miss Mauritius 2013. Its first runner, Neha Gyah the North Miss Mauritius 2013 while Natashka Veerapen was crowned second runner. Neha Gyah is 22 years old and currently working as a Graphic Designer and Natashka Veerapen, 25, works as a Fashion Designer.

Among the other titles awarded during the evening: Shiksha Matabadul, 21 years, the International Miss Mauritius 2013 and Sheetal Khadun, 24, Miss Mauritius World 2013.
