No Visa for Stays of a Month in China

Mauritians wishing to stay in China for a period of 30 days or less will now be exempt from the requirement to have a visa.
An agreement to this effect was endorsed Friday by the Council of Ministers. This agreement provides that following the streamlining of visa application procedures for aircrew airlines and aims to facilitate the movement of citizens of both countries.
However, citizens of both countries who intend to study, work, reside or engage in media activities in the territory of the other contracting party must obtain a visa before traveling.
