Official mission to Europe, Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam met Monday in Paris the French Interior Minister, Manuel Valls. The establishment of a financial police and the fight against trafficking in Subutex were, among others, at the center of discussions.

Ramgoolam requested, Monday, July 29, with the French government for the creation of a financial police also evoking the problems related to money laundering and other fraudulent financial mechanisms such as "Ponzi Schemes". It was during a meeting with French Interior Minister, Manuel Valls Place Beauvau in Paris.

The two countries should also cooperate in the fight against trafficking of Subutex on France-Mauritius axis. The head of government also raised the issue of the transfer of prisoners with Manuel Valls.
