Four Public Beaches Alert to Presence of Jellyfish
Since Thursday morning, the weather alert issued strong waves at different locations on the coast. A warning jellyfish was also launched four public beaches Flic-en-Flac, La Cuvette, Pereybere and Grand Bay.

The National Coast Guard has increased patrols on several public beaches this morning, Thursday 1 st August. This, due to the presence of jellyfish on the beaches of Flic-en-Flac, Bowl, Pereybere and Grand Bay.

The weather station National Vacoas has in turn issued a warning of heavy swells. Waves over 4 meters high are expected in several places along the coast. The presence of bathers and boaters in the lagoon is well recommended.
