Plaisance Airport: New Terminal is Unveiled

It will accommodate up to 4.5 million passengers per year, that is to say the amount of work that were needed for the new airport terminal in Placentia. And the premises themselves are impressive: they are available on an area of 56,900 square meters. All under the supervision of the Airport Terminal Operations Limited (ATOL). 

The official opening is scheduled for August 30. But most important for the transition is the night of September 11. For the day, the new terminal should enter into operation. Either move in one night all airport facilities.

Initially

The car park has 600 spaces.

The entrance with two recordings hall areas 54 counters, 26 immigration stations initially and 10 inspection stations. 

In the lounge: 1135 seats, duty-free shops on 2250 square meters, two lounges and a dining area of 700 m2. 

At the finish

A control area with 36 stations and immigration control, 12 health posts and 8 control transit positions.
