SSR Medical School: First Year Suspended with Immediate Effect

Just enrolled in the first year of medical school, students of the SSR Medical School face a major obstacle: their classes were suspended for a period of four weeks. A decision announced by the TEC on Wednesday 21 August.
At the heart of the controversy: the SSR Medical School of Belle Rive. It proceeded to the registration of first-year students of medicine, MBBS program , when she was not yet accredited by the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC). In a statement issued on Wednesday 21 August, the regulatory authority has ordered the school to comply with standards.
Meanwhile, the statement of the TEC, all first-year courses are suspended for a period of four weeks. However, this period may be shortened if the SSR Medical School meets the requirements of the TEC.
