Fraud Alleged AML: ICAC Makes Two New Arrests
The ICAC progress in the investigation of a series of irregularities in AML. After the arrest of five suspects, this time two "contractors" Jugdish Halkaury and Dinesh Jaipal, were arrested on Wednesday, October 9.

Twist in the investigation into a series of embezzlement within AML. This Wednesday, October 9 , the Independent Commission against Corruption (ICAC ) has arrested two other suspects in this case . Jugdish Halkaury and Dinesh Jaipal two " contractors " who had won contracts with the company , were charged in a charge of money laundering in violation of the Prevention of Corruption Act ( POCA ) .
 As a reminder, the whole affair had been updated after an internal audit within AML. The internal audit had highlighted the fact that there was maldonne in granting certain "small" contracts for cleaning and maintenance of the fence, to businesses along the airport over two years. These contracts were distributed so that the amounts were not large enough to be subject to the approval of the Board and other bodies of the company.
 Several arrests were made in connection with the investigation of the ICAC. Including three former executives of AML Seewoosagur Nemchand , Ramjus Viswadanand and Ramdeo Peeharry .
