Tent Bazaar: Prices Play Yo-Yo

Mixed findings regarding the price of vegetables this week. Some prices, such as the tomato and eggplant, remain stable. By cons, it shows a decrease of squash from Rs 40 to Rs 30 unit. Bean also sells cheaper from Rs 20 last week to Rs 15 this week.
However, the price of cauliflower and pipengaille shows the opposite trend. It takes Rs 40 for a cauliflower, an increase of Rs 10 compared to last week. Pipengaille prices also rose by Rs 10 and sells for Rs 45 per pound, against Rs 35 last week. According to dealers, the high cost of these vegetables is because they are out of season.
Regarding food commodity soybean oil showed a slight increase. The minimum price of a liter increase by Rs 3 from Rs 52. The tuna prices also climbed from Rs 32 against Rs 26 last week.
