African Development Bank Grants Mauritius Funds ..

The funds will help hire experts for the “design and construction of the Rivière des Anguilles Dam and La Ferme Dam,” according to a statement e-mailed today by the Mauritian prime minister’s office in the capital, Port Louis.

The government is enhancing capacity to capture and store rainwater to mitigate scarcity during seasonal droughts, it said.
