Water sector: a new reservoir in Manique

A new water reservoir will soon be built in Manique, La-Ferme, Rodrigues. This reservoir, with a capacity of 1,000 square meters, will be used to store water from the new desalination unit installed in Pointe-Coton.
It will be able to serve the Western regions and neighboring villages, such as Manique, La-Ferme, Giromon, Anse-Nicolas, Baie-du-Nord, Citadelle, Pistaches, Piments and Baie-Topaze, among others.
With the dry season, the construction of this new reservoir is eagerly awaited by the inhabitants of these regions.
Especially since, for two years, almost the entire population has suffered from the water problem and continues to shout their anger.
