NCE exam schedule known

The National Certificate of Education (NCE) examinations will be held from Wednesday, September 25 to Thursday, October 17 this year. The Ministry of Education has set the official timetable for the 2024 examinations.

From 25 September, children taking the National Certificate of Education (NCE) exams will begin with French and Social and Modern Studies . On 27 September, students will be offered the two Art and Design papers , namely the written and practical. On 2 October, students will be offered the Business and Entrepreneurship Education, Foreign Languages and Kreol Morisien exams. Then, on 4 October, science subjects will be on the programme, including chemistry, biology and physics. On Monday 7 October, Technology Studies will be on the programme, while English and Information and Communications Technology are scheduled for 14 October. The exams will ends on 17 October with mathematics.

The overall success rate for the National Certificate of Education (NCE) exams has reached 70.43 %. Once again, girls outperformed boys. This year, the strongest subject was Art and Design, with notable improvements also seen in Mathematics and Kreol Morisien.
