New Rs 100, Rs 200 and Rs 1,000 banknotes were put into circulation by the Bank of Mauritius (BoM) on Monday, December 2.
New Rs 100, Rs 200 and Rs 1,000 notes were put into circulation by the Bank of Mauritius (BoM) on Monday, December 2. This is according to a BoM press release. The new polymer notes will coexist with the paper ones. It should be noted that by the end of 2025, all notes will be in polymer.
