Dodo Trail 2015: Reaching New Heights

It is a mountain race that passes over the highest, most spectacular peaks and private lands of the south west of Mauritius. Dodo is a trail full of natural wonders and inevitable adventure as you enjoy a unique occasion to run through stunning landscapes with breathtaking views of the turquoise lagoon as well as the tropical forests of the Black River Gorge National Park. Ask anyone who has run it before – it is unforgettable.
The Dodo Trail offers four unique and challenging trails for experienced enthusiasts as well as novices and families:

• Xtreme Dodo Trail: 50km & 3,500m ascent
• Ti Dodo Trail: 25km & 1,500m ascent
• Mini Dodo Trail: 10km & 500m ascent
• Dodo Fun Run: 5km

There are refreshment supplies at regular check points all along the track with water, Coke, fruit and more. A medical and safety team will be present at each water point. All runners will have the privelege of climbing the famous La Tourelle de Tamarin mountain before reaching the spectacular finishing line at Riverland Sport Centre.

• XDT 50km : Internationals 80 Eur – Local residents 2,200 Rs – RTN and Patloisirs Rando Club members 2,000 Rs
• TDT 25km : Internationals 65 Eur – Local residents 1,400 Rs – RTN and Patloisirs Rando Club members 1,250 Rs
• MDT 10km : Internationals 50 Eur – Local residents 1,000 Rs – RTN and Patloisirs Rando Club members 900 Rs
• DFR 5km : Internationals 25 Eur – Local residents 600 Rs
