Mauritius Maritime Week 2018
On Monday 22 January will be an IBIA Bunkering Training Programme in association with Celero.
From Tuesday 23 until Thursday 24 January will be the market leading 12th Indian Ocean Ports and Logistics 2018 Exhibition and Conference including a Technical Site Visit to the port facilities, container terminal and logistics centres in Mauritius Port. Delegates are invited to visit the new extended quay and ship to shore cranes in Mauritius Container Terminal. On the Wednesday and Thursday will be the market leading Exhibition and Conference officiated by The Honourable Pravind Kumar JUGNAUTH Prime Minister, Minister of Home Affairs, External Communications and National Development Unit, Minister of Finance and Economic Development of Mauritius. The two-day Conference will feature 35 world class conference speakers addressing issues, challenges, solutions and innovations in port operations, shipping, supply chain and logistics strategies which will be attended by a gathering of more than 300 senior government officials, industry principals, academics, senior level executives such as CEOs, General Managers, harbour masters and terminal operators together with the region's leading maritime consultants, shippers, cargo owners, importers, exporters, shipping lines, freight forwarders, logistic companies, technology providers and service suppliers from countries throughout the Indian Ocean islands. There will be the commercial opportunity for 50 exhibitors and sponsors to network directly with decision maker delegates at this major annual international maritime transport Exhibition trade event for the Indian Ocean islands.
On Friday 25 January, there will be a Vanilla Islands Showcase including a visit to the Christian Decotter Cruise Terminal and an opportunity to enjoy a Catamaran Cruise to the beautiful Indian Ocean islands.
