With his wife Sarah, Frank Moses former CIA agent, attends the funeral of his friend and former colleague Marvin Boggs. The latter's car exploded in front of him, while still paranoid, he came to trust that Frank believed monitored. Frank had not thought, of course, any more than he thinks actually dead. But this is just after the ceremony, Frank and Sarah are kidnapped by government agents and taken to a detention center. While Frank is questioned, Jack Horton arises, kill all the agents and threatens to torture Sarah Frank if he did not book him some information. Fortunately, Marvin was not dead, manages to free himself and Sarah. While all three are on the run, Marvin explains to his friend that they are suspected of being terrorists, Horton has made authorities believe they had participated during the Cold War in an operation called "Nightshade". This was to introduce, piece by piece, an atomic bomb in Russia ...
