According to Xavier-Luc Duval, equity and efficiency maintain the reputation of the CPB and the Independent Review Panel (IRP).

According to Xavier-Luc Duval, further reforms are planned for more efficiency. Moreover, he chaired a committee at the government level and in thirty days, reforms will be announced.
These concern the delays in tendering and SMEs. "We reforms for SMEs and we want to go in that direction," he said. He added that the problem of 'staffing' from the Ministry of Social Security has been settled and that remedial measures are taken to accelerate the process.
The President of CPB, Prem Beeharry, it is dwelt on the work the organization does to facilitate procedures and avoid delays in the award of a contract. He expressed the measures taken since November 2011 to reduce the time taken for the examination of documents and tender evaluation. He also stressed that the CPB has reviewed its vision, mission and goals last year. According to him, a body can not function properly if it is not given the means to recruit and employ people of their choice.
