Outsourcing: 500 Jobs to Be Filled by January 2014

Asked by Le Matinal at Tuesday Roshan Seetohul, President of OTAM, said the outsourcing industry has become very resilient over the years. So that the sector can withstand shock waves from outside. The President of OTAM also recalled that  today Europe is the main market of Mauritius in the outsourcing industry. But he has said the government's decision to make a breakthrough in Africa will boost the sector. "Mauritius has a lot to offer in terms of knowledge in the field of outsourcing. Thus, there will be many opportunities for next year ", welcomed Roshan Seetohul.

The outsourcing industry currently has 18,000 employees in 350 companies. This sector is likely to absorb a large number of young people who have just finished high school. Moreover, with the advent of HSC Pro, many young people have the training and will eventually get a job in the outsourcing industry. HSC Pro will promote the culture of IT among young people who aspire to a career in outsourcing.
