Government Online Center: No services on 4-6.08

Cabinet has taken note that the Government Online Center (GOC), which is the data center of the government, will undertake a major intervention to replace its core network equipment.

This intervention will beginthis Friday from 5 p.m. and should be finished by 11 p.m. on Sunday 6.

The exercise will have a significant impact on all services hosted at the GOC, including the government email service, the government portal, all ministry/departmental websites, and all applications owned by other ministries, such as the Registrar General's Mauritius eRegistry, and the Companies Division's integrated company and business registration system, among others.

A blackout is planned and none of the services will be available from August 4 at 5 p.m. to Sunday 6 at 11 p.m.
