This year's Celebration of Light, as a symbol of victory over evil, is celebrated in full solar eclipse. An eclipse that many feared but Mauritius Astronomical Society has set the record straight. In a statement issued Tuesday, October 29, it emphasizes that this particular eclipse will last only 20 minutes.

From 18 h 01 to 18 h 21, Sunday, November 3, Mauritius may attend a partial solar eclipse. Mauritius Astronomical Society cleared in a statement issued Tuesday, October 29. While speculation is rife as to the duration of the eclipse and will take place during the Divali festival celebrated that day.

In its statement, the Mauritius Astronomical Society also emphasizes that this solar eclipse will not be visible until 18 h 01 while some emphasized that it will be around 14 h 05 and complete to 19 h h 28. In fact, the phenomenon will end at 18 h 21, the astronomers Ricaud Auckbur and Bhasker Desai argue.
