One of the two low pressure, moving north-east of Mauritius, has intensified to a tropical depression and approaching the island. It should develop into a tropical storm by tomorrow, Wednesday, February 5. The weather station Vacoas has issued an alert Tuesday pre February 4.

"Given the proximity of the tropical depression, it may be that we have a short reaction time. We preferred to issue a pre warning on Mauritius from this Tuesday, Feb. 4, " said a forecaster of the weather station Vacoas. Indeed, one of the two low pressure, moving north-east of Mauritius, has intensified into a tropical depression.

There is a high probability that it becomes a moderate tropical storm by tomorrow, Wednesday, February 5, when it is in the vicinity of Mauritius. It thus constitutes a potential danger, said the forecaster.

Groups associated with the tropical depression should begin to influence the time from tonight. Sometimes thunderstorms are expected. And the rains are expected to increase from tomorrow, with gusts of 60 km / h.
