Cyclone Belal: Mauritius moves to class 3

The Mauritius weather station issued a class 3 warning at 1 p.m. this Monday, January 15.

Cyclone Belal was located 170 kilometers west of Le Morne while moving in an east-southeast direction at 12 km/h. On this trajectory, Belal is getting closer to Mauritius and represents a direct threat to the country. It is forecast to pass its closest point very early tomorrow morning. The radius of cyclonic winds is expected to cross the southern part of the island.
