Roshan Boodhoo appointed Chief Executive of the FSC

Dr Roshan Boodhoo was appointed Chief Executive of the Financial Services Commission (FSC) on Tuesday June 25. This is a decision of the FSC Board in consultation with the Minister of Financial Services and Good Governance, Sunil Bholah, as provided for in Section 9 of the Financial Services Act.
This position remained vacant following the departure of Vikash Thakoor in March, whose contract was not renewed. The latter returned to his post at the Bank of Mauritius. As for Roshan Boodhoo, he will officially take up his new role tomorrow, Wednesday June 26. Note that he was until now Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer of the SBM Group.
