The Mauritius Council of Social Service (MACOSS), SOS Poverty, the E-Inclusion Foundation and Microsoft Indian Ocean are launching a second training series for non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to help them master information technology tools.
It has the collaboration and support of SOS Poverty which has agreed to provide “Microsoft Digital Literacy Course” training in its technological community centres located in various parts of the island – Port Louis, Rose Hill, Rose Belle and Lallmatie.
Today, Wikipedia celebrates its fifteenth birthday. In Internet years, that’s pretty old. But “the encyclopedia that anyone can edit” is different from services like Google, Amazon, and Facebook. Though Wikipedia has long been one of Internet’s most popular sites—a force that decimated institutions like the Encyclopedia Britannica—it’s only just reaching maturity.

The City Zen Academy opened its doors to the 15 winners of the essay competition on road safety for colleges. Vivo Energy Mauritius Limited has organized this competition as part of its campaign on road safety called "Zen City".
