The new iPad was presented by Steve Jobs today in San Francisco. The iPad 2 features an all-new design along with new features including built-in cameras and a new gyroscope. It's 33% thinner (89 mm) than the previous version and weighing 600 gramms.
The iPad 2 features two built-in cameras, 9.7-inch LCD screen with a 1024-by-768-pixel resolution, 10 hours of battery life, 1080p video out (using an Apple Digital AV Adapter or Apple VGA Adapter), and a choice between a black or white iPad.
Apple offers six models of the iPad 2. The pricing of the iPad 2 falls in line with the pricing of the iPad. The prices are from $499 (16 Gb of memory and no 3G) to $829 (64Gb with 3G).
The sales of iPad 2 will start on March 11 in more than 26 states.
