The Mauritius Wild Life Foundation’s new Visitors’ Centre is ready

The visitors centre was opened on March 15 by Kenichi Takeyama, economic cooperation advisor of the Government of Japan

The Mauritius Wild Life Foundation’s new Visitors’ Centre is ready. Costing Rs2.1 million, it was financed with a grant from the Japan Social Development Fund allocated in 2008.

The grant also funded the construction of a booking desk and an Education Centre on the mainland opposite the former Pointe Jerome San Jetty near Mahebourg.

The visitors centre was opened on March 15 by Kenichi Takeyama, economic cooperation advisor of the Government of Japan.
