Bank One announced profits of Rs 168 million in 2010

Dusoye Raj, CEO of Bank One, announced the news during the "Emma Nite" evening on Wednesday at the Intercontinental Resort Hotel in Balaclava. Three years after the takeover the bank made a profit of Rs 168 million in 2010. 

These results, Raj Dusoye attributed to women as the play the important roles in the Bank One's life. Over 60% of its leaders are young Mauritiuan women. 

On the occasion of this evening, five women were honored for their outstanding contribution in their spheres of activity. The winners are: Miselaine Duval (Category Arts & Culture), Rita Venkatasawmy (Category Social / Volunteer), Vijaya Teelock (Category Education / Research), Fabienne St Louis (Sports) and Francoise Baptiste (Entrepreneurship).
