Situated at the very heart of Ebene Cybercity, the Four Points by Sheraton hotel has been rebranded The Link.
Mr Kris Seeboo who had more than 10 years' experience in the construction industry before moving into the hospitality sector, both as developer and General Manager of several five-star Indian Ocean resorts tell some words about hotel's new strategy.
"We have increased our staff by 10% to reach 170 employees and our target is to make The Link a unique meeting place and a “chill out” address for people who come out after a hard day’s work. For that we have redesigned the bar in the span of three days into a cozy atmosphere where people feel “in”.
Besides providing restaurant facilities for Mauritian families, we also have our Banquet Hall which can accommodate 400 people, and where marriage ceremonies and birthday parties may be held with all the hotel service support. I take the opportunity to thank the present hotel team which has shown a lot of zeal towards the new concept.
Our priority is to provide quality service and a variety of food possibilities. We will also focus on improving the hotel in general and creating the most conducive atmosphere for local people to socialise. On Fridays we have made arrangements for live music and every Saturday we organise Indian nights with an Indian chef.
We are currently working on an activity plan and our immediate project is moving into the wedding market. We are in the centre of Plaine Wilhems. We have got the biggest banquet room. We will launch the market in the month of April. Weddings nowadays have become a great event and it has much scope. "
