Zoom launches in Mauritius from April 2011

Zoom, the Bollywood destination, extends its footprint to yet another country and strengthens its position in the global markets through its launch in Mauritius starting April 2011. Present in 16 countries apart from India, Zoom will be available on Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation's DVB-T, the biggest DTH platform in Mauritius. The channel, part of the Times Television Network, will bring the viewers closer to the biggest stars of the Indian film industry. 

Apart from Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation's DVB-T, Zoom will also be available on other DTH platforms like DSTV, My-TV Orange Telecom, Parabole Maurice and Canalsat Maurice. Besides the Indian diaspora that comprises of 68% of the television viewers in Mauritius, Zoom will be targeting Mauritians who are very familiar with the Indian culture and are also widely involved in what's going on in the world of Bollywood. 

Zoom is the only channel in India to produce 750+ hours of original Bollywood content (News and Features) in a year. The Channel is the No.1 Bollywood platform on Television with over 1crore viewers tuning in to get their daily dose of Bollywood. It is the 2nd most viewed channel on YouTube in India with more than 300 million video views till date. Zoom shows are syndicated globally and has viewers in several countries through Television and Internet.
