The first ProIT Exhibition will be held in Mauritius from April 20-22 at the Freeport of Mauritius Exhibition Centre in Mer Rouge. It is organised by the National Computer Board (NCB) and the Mauritius IT Industry IT Association (MITIA).
This B2B fair is dedicated to the professionals and enterprises of all sectors of the economy. The exhibition will offer a unique platform for enterprises dealing in the information and communication technology sector to present their products, services, solutions and new technologies.
More than 3,000 professionals are expected to visit the fair. The objectives of the fair are to promote expertise and know-how in terms of IT solutions and also to sensitise companies along with small and medium enterprises on business solutions proposed by IT firms, which will allow them to become more efficient.
Attilla Szenvedi, Windows Client Business Group Manager of Microsoft West, East, Central Africa and Indian Ocean Islands will be the keynote speaker and will host a presentation on Cloud Computing.
Mr Suraj Ramgolam, the Chairman of the NCB, explains that the exhibition reflects a synergy between the private and public sectors so that all the actors of the information technology and communication sectors can strengthen this pillar of the economy.
