US visa section in Mauritius open until April 15

The Consular Section of the U.S. yesterday temporarily reopened its visa section to the public and it will remain open until April 15. Applicants with an urgent need to travel should submit their applications immediately for interviews during that time.

Priority will be given to applicants travelling for business, attending a graduation ceremony, or going for tourism/family visit before the month of May. For detailed information on applications and appointments, the public is directed to the U.S. Embassy website: http://mauritius.usembassy.gov
