The objective is to raise funds for the NGO Society for Aid to Children Inoperable in Mauritius (SACIM), through a sporting event.

The announcement was made at a press conference held on Wednesday at the restaurant Life, Rogers House, Port Louis.

Several activities such as two cycling events of 75 km and 40 km, a run race of 10 km and a walk of 7.8 km will be organised.

Vaughan Heberden, CEO of the Cim group, stated that they have chosen a charity because they believe in high degree of convergence and want to help children from underprivileged background.
