Solaris Mauritius is organising a Journée de Santé (health day) in Goodlands on Sunday. The event will take place at the Gymnasium of the SSS Sharma Jugdambi Secondary School and will run from 9am to 1pm.
The Journée de Santé groups all the basic medical services deemed vital for the wellbeing and sound health of all of us, explains Avinash Teeluck, president of the group.
For Sunday’s event, Solaris has teamed up with the Ministry of Health and the Quality of Life, the Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital, Dr. Anousha Teeluck and her team, the Blood Donors Association, GlaxoSmithKline and fellow students from the University of Mauritius to provide free medical consultations to the inhabitants of Goodlands and neighbouring villages.
“The Journée de Santé not only stands as a day of medical care, but also as an awareness campaign and health education on the significance of healthy living,” adds Mr Teeluck.”
