150 new members of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of Mauritius

A ceremony to celebrate more than 150 new members of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) will be held in Mauritius next week.
The event, which will take place at the Audi Zentrum in Réduit on August 16, will witness 176 new members being welcomed to ACCA with 11 senior finance professionals being honoured for having completed 25 years of being ACCA members in 2010 and 2011.
The ceremony is being organised by ACCA Mauritius and sponsored by accounting firm Ernst & Young will be hosted by Jamil Ampomah, director of ACCA for sub-Saharan Africa.
Ampomah will be on a short official visit here and will meet ACCA partners, in addition to participating to the new members ceremony.
Ampomah’s presence at the event bears testimony to Mauritius’ importance in the Sub-Saharan network of ACCA.
