The Bagatelle Mall of Mauritius is set to be open from 10 am, according to Jean Marc Rivet, centre manager of the mall.
The official inauguration by Prime Minister Dr Navin Ramgoolam will be on October 19.
The cinema halls will begin operation on Friday.
Shoppers can take their pick from a wide variety of local and international brands such as Pick n Pay, Cash and Carry, Hugo Boss, Identity, Ocean Basket, Mango and Intermart among others.
Rivet said: “There are three main pillars including entertainment, shopping and food. I think that everyone will find something that will suit them,” added Rivet.
The project, which involves the collaboration of ENL Property and South African company Atterbury, promises a unique shopping experience here.
On Wednesday evening, the South African retail giant Pick n Pay presented its first outlet, set to open on Thursday, to a select gathering.
The Mall of Mauritius houses shops, a foodcourt, restaurants, six cinema halls, a skate park and a kids’ corner among others.
