Café Culture: Yannick And Yann Durhone

This is a unique place at Camp Levieux. The tree, coffee culture is distinguished by its first concept but also through the atmosphere it generates. As soon as one enters, one feels otherwise. The warm appeal to the escape. A journey for the senses and mind.

Behind this new concept, combining cultural explosion and weaving links are hidden and Yann Yannick Durhone, 31. They may be twins but they are different or even opposite in character. Already at the first meeting, Yann is more relaxed, more talkative.

"We noted that there were several people who wanted a place to express themselves. It Yannick who had the idea for this place to allow these people to evolve. Even if the tree is ten years, the concept of promoting an artist took shape in 2005, "argues Yann.

Indeed, it has been six years since the tree is known as a place of culture. Previously, the parents of two brothers who ran the restaurant. If for Yannick, the transition from the traditional restaurant and cafe culture "took place naturally" , Yann, he admits that their parents were reluctant to give this place in their last two children.

Yannick says that since music is the center of the tree, the coffee culture has become a place of connection between audience and performers. "These artists come on stage do not have other places to express themselves . It's not a nightclub people do not come to dance, but to listen to music and be inspired, " he says.

This young man with curly hair is not only a music lover but an inspired painting. In addition to being the manager of the tree, Yannick teaches at Le Bocage International School. He supervises youth in Visual Arts. 
After high school in GSS Bamboo, Yannick continued training at the School of Design before leaving for France to begin his BTS visual communication at the University of Montpellier.

Now, with this life already busy, he finds time to devote to ETAE, a musical group in which he officiates as a drummer and percussionist. Not forgetting his responsibilities as husband and young father.

Moreover Durhone Veronica, his wife can not understand how the young man comes to manage everything. "It's a whirlwind. It keeps moving. I wonder how he can invest in all at the same time. Sometimes I can not keep " loose the young mother with a laugh. But she noted in her husband a real sense of organization and impeccable attention to his little girl.

On the other hand, Yann is made. He takes life as it comes, serenely. It took a different route but equally filled. It mainly affected in many areas. After his school career, Yann continues training in the IVTB Civil ENGINEERING at the Hotel School and will be project designer and driver, at times. There is also a musician and is the keyboard.

Since it no longer works now, Yann invests entirely in the coffee culture. It was he who specified that the stage of the host tree budding artists free on Fridays. It is already beginning to reflect on the improvements to the tree, early in 2012.

"It will structure the place to meet public expectations while keeping the soul of the tree," he says. For example, theme nights will be better rewarded, and other aspects of culture will be offered, like painting exhibitions, performances and poetry slam.

Besides the tree is in full swing with his Enn Festival which begins on 2 December. Concerts are offered on the evening of 2, 3, 9 and 10 December. The entrance is at Rs 250. Free nights are available on 7 and 8 of the same month.
