The HRDC assured this year the placement of students for an internship Lower VI vacation in the workplace. 625 young people from 86 schools have been identified for the 2012 season. These students will be offered a two-week internship in one of 30 organizations in the private and the public.
"Vocational training is a way to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to meet the needs of the labor market," says Raj Auckloo, director of HRDC.
Since the launch of the training program in 2007, 4125 students have attended courses in some 250 organizations. In addition to exposing students to the realities of the working world is the goal of HRDC bridge "the gap between the school system and the world of work."
