Cruise Ships: 3000 Jobs Available
Just for the month of February, 200 Mauritians should be recruited on cruise ships by two international companies. And this year, it is anticipated that approximately 3,000 Mauritians are hired on cruise ships.

Cypriot company Louis Cruise Lines (LCL) is recruiting 150 people to work on board its ships. Mainly sought: bartenders, valets, receptionists, hostesses and servers. Christos Hadjipetris, Senior Manager Hotel Operations of the company, is expected for February 7 interview candidates.

This exercise will be in collaboration with Renaissance Maritime Ltd. (RML). And, by the end of April, the candidates have joined the ship where they are posted.

The contract is for a period of nine months, renewable says Edley Elliah, responsible RML. Adding that "we have 100 Mauritians on ships of this company." According to him, "a bartender can earn up to 2000 euros per month, including tips."

Also in February, the International Cruise Recruitment Services Ltd (ICRS) recruit it, 50 Massage & Beauty Therapists, Hairstylists for the British company Steiner. American companies Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Cruises, is no exception. They expect to hire 2,400 Mauritians this year.
