Riots at the Réunion: France Sends Reinforcements

Paris has sent about 60 mobile police Friday morning, February 22, on the island of La Réunion.

A few days ago the Prefect of the Reunion, Jean-Luc Marx, decided to ask Paris to ensure human reinforcement on site maintaining public safety and avoid the first few nights of rioting will spread''.

The island Sister spent two nights of rioting in Port, and has isolated incidents recorded in Saint-Denis and Saint-Benoît during the week ... Nineteen rioters were arrested.
